PLEF held its first Kidstock July 2011 to meet a very specific funding need at Priest Lake Elementary. It was so successful that we decided to use the extra funds to start the Ready! For Kindergarten program at Priest Lake.

Prior to this, there were no early educational opportunities for the children of Priest Lake. Since then, we have also funded Priest Lake Preschool in its entirety.

We exist to demonstrate the power of community! Help us with our mission in helping the children of Priest Lake!

While the early focus has been in birth to age five with funding for Ready! For Kindergarten and Priest Lake Preschool, future grants and support will address needs at all grade levels.  It is our desire to touch every student with enhanced learning opportunities through the following means:

• Encouraging parent support by encouraging and educating families about their important role in supporting their children in all areas of the curriculum.
• Support our Priest Lake community educators in their pursuit of enrichment opportunities.
• Facilitate community involvement in support of Priest Lake Elementary School and target specific un-met educational needs.
• Raise money to enhance tax- payer financed programs and fund identified needs to help raise achievement levels of all students.

We are partnering with our local school district and its educators to promote excellence in education and facilitate broad-based community support for Priest Lake students, parents and teachers. Our goal is to provide funding for educational needs, that without our support, would not otherwise be met.
